Anti-semitic parties are on the rise in Europe, the Anti-Defamation League has stated.
Andrew Srulevich, director of European affairs for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), told a human rights committee that Hungary, Greece and the Ukraine had seen extreme right-wing groups with anti-semitic agendas rise to prominence. He admitted that events in the Middle East often seemed to spark anti-semitic incidents.
Srulevich was speaking at a meeting of the US Congress Subcommittee on Human Rights, which had a hearing in late February to examine the growing threat of anti-Jewish feeling internationally.
